The good point is that it comes with a magnetic sensor which can hardly be found in any set under this price range. The price is though affordable but it is quite a heavy set as compared to its Pioneer P2. Many hardcore games are not supported by it. This device has many dominant flaws which can be very easily observed by even a normal user. The performance of the phone cannot be even compared to its own predecessor Gionee Pioneer P2. The apps can be easily installed on secondary storage and can be then smoothly run from there. So an external storage with microSD card support is provided to elevate the memory up to 32GB. The RAM is limited to 512MB which may at times proves little lags in performance while the internal storage is 4GB out of which a large part is used for the system itself and very limited is available for the user. The device also has the brightening control feature for the screen which also helps in consumption of battery life. 1700mAh which can stand for whole day and under moderate use, this can last for a day and half. The battery of Gionee Pioneer P3 is quite heavy i.e. Thus the camera department in Gionee remained mediocre always which is a point to be considered by the company on priority basis. The front camera works on chance actually and for most of the time it doesn’t give good quality videos.

The video recording is a fun here but it does bring out some jerks while moving camera for recording videos. The night time shots though are little grainy but the day light shots are of nice quality. The quality of still images is better than the videos. While the output of front camera is below average. The back camera is of 5MP with LED light providing some good quality photos and videos. The OS provides fair multitasking and provides clean switches from app to app. The OS allows the installation of apps on secondary storage which is microSD card as the internal storage is very limited. The old OS even gives smooth performance with the support of the powerful processor. The battery is removable which means it can be replaced if torn out. At the bottom of the screen are the three navigation touchscreen keys along with the lower mic while the top of screen has the VGA front facing camera along with sensors. The power button and the volume rocker are located at the right side and the 3.5mm audio jack is placed at the top of the phone while the microUSB port is situated towards the bottom. The viewing angles get even worst under direct sunlight. The screen even doesn’t have the scratch resistant glass to protect it from scratches and breaks. Though the screen is larger than P2 but the viewing angles are very poor and the screen overall is a failure. This strong hardware makes it sturdy and strong. The phone build material is good quality plastic and rubber finish at the back. The connectivity options include 2G/3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.

The back camera is of 5MP with LED flash while the front CGA camera is used for video calls and fallacies. The RAM is here again limited to 512MB while the built-in storage is 4GB which can be further extended up to 32GB with the help of microSD card.
Gionee p3 price android#
The processor is 1.3GHz quad-core while the OS is Android v4.2 Jelly Beans. The screen is large here than Gionee P2 and is 4.3-inch. It has to be seen if this handset is capable enough to keep the good reputation set by the Gionee Pioneer P2. This one is the cheapest smartphone from Gionee by now and offers good hardware.

Gionee is making its stand strong in Smartphone market by launching different price range handsets.
